How are teams formed?

Teams are formed based on two factors:

  • The number of players who signed up for Tryouts where we can form an 8, 9, or 10 person roster per team
  • Teams WILL NOT be formed if we can only create less than a 7 person roster per team.
  • An adult who is willing to coach that team

 

Team Rosters will be FINALIZED on February 16,2022

 

Please note that any player who doesn't make our teams will be automatically placed on our Waiting List IF a spot opens up.

Can a player switch to another team?

  • Once a player is chosen on a team, he/she may not switch to another team without the Program Director's approval
  • It is the sole discretion of the Program Director of DC Falcons Basketball Program to move a player from one team to another if the need arises.

When will the League start?

  • The Daly City Basketball League is scheduled to start the week of February 7th.
  • First practice for all the teams will start the week of February 7th and Games will start on February 12th for some teams.
  • For each practice, you will need to fill out a Covid-19 Check-In Form (which will be on the website soon) BEFORE 5pm
  •  

Will there be any Covid-19 safety protocols during the season?

  • There will be Covid-19 safety protocols in place during practices and games.
  • ALL Players will need to Opt-In to weekly covid tests at TRP per the school district's gym use policy.
  • ALL coaches and players will be grouped under Vaccinated or Unvaccinated Coach/Player Safety Guidelines if they were exposed to covid anytime during the season.
  • Players will need to complete a COVID-19 Check-In Form before 5pm in order to attend practices and games.

When is the Deadline to REGISTER and SECURE my spot on the team?

  • In order to place the uniform order for all the teams, the Deadline to REGISTER and SECURE your spot on the team will be FEBRUARY 2, 2022 before 4pm
  • Once the deadline passes, your child's spot may be given to another child on the Waiting List unless you contact or make arrangements with the Program Director.

How much will it cost to play in the Daly City Basketball League?

The cost per player will be $165.00

  • Payment can be paid in full or in two installments ($100.00 (due upon completing the Registration) then $65 (due 2/11/22))
  • The cost will cover: 1) League Registration 2) Team Practices  3) Team Uniforms  4) Program Administrative Costs

What is your Refund Policy?

DC Falcons Basketball Program will not issue any refund once the following events occur:

  • After Feb 3, 2022 after 4pm
  • Once the uniform order has been placed
